Elliot Mather Solicitors believe in supporting the local community around each of our offices in Chesterfield, Mansfield and Matlock. Our priority is to support people and organisations in these areas as well as a small number of national charities with a direct connection to members of our team.
We receive a large number of requests for help, many more than our resources allow. However all requests are given careful consideration and those which are shortlisted are considered by the Staff Council.
Charitable and non-profit making organisations are given priority and we do not make donations to political parties.
Fund raising activities involving volunteers are actively encouraged among our staff and partners. For example these include dress down (or up) days for charity, walks and runs, etc.
A charity contribution is made in lieu of Christmas cards each year
Since 2008 our nominated charity has been Ashgate Hospice
Recent community activities include:
- 2009 Christmas Greeting donation to Ashgate Hospice in place of Christmas cards
- Solicitors step out in support of Ashgate Hopsice
