

Four trainees with Elliot Mather have successfully qualified as solicitors and secured permanent positions with the firm.
Vili Chung joined Elliot Mather in 2003. She completed her training contract within the commercial property department and will stay on to strengthen this busy team in our Mansfield office.
In Chesterfield, the litigation team is boosted by the appointment of Scott Fitzjohn who also qualified as a solicitor on 1 Febuary. As a member of the litigation team he gets involved in a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, such as employment claims, landlord and tenant disputes and insolvency cases.
Jessica Strange who, having previously completed the Bar Finals, has now seen the light and successfully cross-qualified as a solicitor. She joins the criminal team in Chesterfield and is already working towards obtaining the Higher Rights Certificate.
Vince Beckwith joins the family team in Chesterfield in a career move after more than fifteen years working in criminal law. Having been involved in a number of cases involving the welfare of children this has been an area of growing interest for Vince who also specialises in managing the financial aspects of relationship breakdown.
