Claire has been a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Team at Chesterfield since August 2017.

She has practiced in the East Midlands region for the last 18 years following a relocation to the Peak District and having originally trained in London.

Claire has extensive experience having worked in all areas of dispute resolution but most recently in more complex cases particularly professional negligence , all types of commercial disputes including shareholder and director / senior employee disputes , contractual , franchise and restrictive covenant disputes. Claire has also worked in cases involving land , property and will disputes .

As businesses become more successful they may face challenges internally from their staff or externally from suppliers , clients or competitors. Claire will assist in resolving these challenges as quickly as possible to ensure the legitimate business interest is protected with minimal cost to the business in both financial and time expenditure. However where court action and / or alternative methods of resolution are appropriate Claire will ensure a robust pursuit of the case to conclusion ensuring the client is guided at all stages of the process.
