County Court

The first step in the County Court route is to send a solicitor’s  letter to the debtor threatening Court action if they do not pay, known  as a “Letter before Action”. We will write to the debtor demanding  immediate payment of the outstanding amount owed.

Realistically, there are limited options available to a debtor in this situation:

  • Pay you (either all at once or in instalments);
  • Dispute that the monies are owed; or
  • Fail to respond.

From this point our experienced advisors can provide plain, effective  advice as to what the next steps would be in recovering the money you  are owed.
