Joanna has extensive experience in a wide range of employment law cases for individuals and businesses.   Her legal career started in the City in 2000 and she has since worked for some regional top 500 law firms acting for corporate businesses and high net worth individuals.  

Prior to joining Elliot Mather, Joanna ran her own successful employment law practice for ten years’, specialising in discrimination law.  

Joanna is a highly experienced employment law specialist assisting employers and individuals on all HR and employment law related issues.  Joanna’s advice has been commended as being reliable, punctual, concise and jargon free.  

Joanna is able to act for a wide range of clients in contentious and non-contentious employment matters across the full spectrum of employment issues from recruitment through to work restructures, redundancies and dismissals.

Joanna has a particular interest in raising awareness and promoting family friendly rights in the workplace.   Joanna will be presenting a range of employment law seminars over the forthcoming months for local businesses.

Joanna is based in our Derby office but is able to service clients across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire regions.
