Our busy Criminal Department is currently inviting applications for the following position:

Experienced Crown Court Litigation Clerk 

The role calls for an enthusiastic employee who will undertake predominantly Crown Court litigation work of a high calibre and volume. You would be joining an established Criminal team in which you could really develop the role and make it your own.

The successful candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Crown Court Litigator, and thereby able to run a varied and challenging caseload.

Applications would be considered from those currently at assistant solicitor level possibly wanting to take their legal career in a different direction and ultimately gain Higher Rights.

Police Station Accreditation would be advantageous, but not essential. However a commitment to undertake the accreditation would be required and full training will be provided.

The role will be based at our Mansfield office, with an expectation that the successful candidate will also provide assistance in Nottingham.

Once accredited the successful candidate will be required to participate in a rota to cover out of hours Police Station attendances during the evenings, at weekends and over bank holidays. This is remunerated separately at a very competitive rate.

A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle will be a job requirement.
